All questions

What compression level are TrueFit socks?

TrueFit uses graduated compression that measures roughly 20–30 mmHg at the ankle, easing to 12–16 mmHg at the calf and 8–10 mmHg at the top. That is the everyday range most people are recommended for tired, achy or mildly swollen legs, and it does not require a prescription.

How do I choose between S/M and L/XL?

Pick by shoe size first: S/M fits women's 5–9.5 and men's 4–8.5, L/XL fits women's 10–13 and men's 9–13. If your calf measures above 16 inches at its widest point, size up to L/XL for the wide comfort strap to sit flat.

How long should I wear compression socks each day?

Most people put them on in the morning and take them off at bedtime. Start with 4–6 hours for the first two days if you have never worn compression before, then build up to a full day. Do not sleep in them unless your clinician tells you to.

Will the top band leave marks or cut off circulation?

No. Ordinary compression socks finish in a narrow elastic band that behaves like a tourniquet. TrueFit finishes in a wide comfort strap that spreads pressure over a broader area, so it holds the sock up without denting your calf.

Do you ship worldwide and what does shipping cost?

Yes — we ship to every country we can legally reach, and shipping is free on every bundle. Delivery is typically 3–7 business days in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and 7–14 business days elsewhere. All prices are charged in USD.

Are they safe for diabetics or people with varicose veins?

Mild graduated compression is widely used by both groups, but circulation conditions vary. If you are diabetic, have peripheral arterial disease, neuropathy or advanced venous disease, check with your doctor before wearing any compression garment.

How do I wash them?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang to dry. Skip fabric softener and the tumble dryer — heat is what breaks down compression fibres. Washed this way a pair holds its compression for roughly 6 months of regular wear.

What if they don't work for me?

Wear them for 30 days. If your legs don't feel better, contact us and we'll refund the order — you keep the socks you have already worn. One email is all it takes.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Checkout runs over SSL and card details are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

Are they unisex?

Yes. The knee-high black design is deliberately plain so it looks like an ordinary dress or sport sock on anyone, and sizing is given in both women's and men's shoe sizes.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free worldwide on every order, with no minimum. All prices are shown in USD.

How long does delivery take?

United States and Canada: 5–8 business days. UK, Ireland and Europe: 6–10 business days. Australia and New Zealand: 7–12 business days. Rest of world: 8–15 business days. You get a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel ships.

Can I return them if they don't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery. If they don't work for you, email support@truefitsocks.com and we'll refund you — you don't need to argue your case.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payments are processed over 256-bit SSL by Stripe, a PCI Service Provider Level 1 processor. We never see or store your full card details.

Do you ship to my country?

We ship worldwide, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, Singapore, the UAE and across Europe and Asia.

What size should I order?

S/M fits women's US 5–9.5 and men's US 4–8.5, with a calf up to 16 inches. L/XL fits women's US 10–13 and men's US 9–13, with a calf up to 20 inches. Calf measurement matters more than shoe size.

Are these medical compression socks?

TrueFit is a 20–30 mmHg graduated wellness product available without a prescription. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition. Speak to a clinician if you have arterial disease, diabetes with neuropathy, heart failure or an open wound.
